The Brahma Kumaris Association in Spain develops its social activities through courses, workshops, conferences, seminars, retreats and specific projects, in addition to an extensive production of local materials such as books, CDs and DVDs. In Spain, the Association is declared of public utility by the Ministry of Interior since 2001.
The Association has a humanist, spiritual and volunteer perspective. One of its fundamental principles is respect for human beings and their beliefs, and selfless service, as all programs are offered free to participants, and teachers do not receive fees. To finance its activities and facilities, it has voluntary contributions.
